Teacher decision guide

Seasonal energy needs structure, not a lecture.

Holiday weeks, special events and countdown days change the energy of a classroom. The seasonal Fixes keep the familiar mechanics—short rounds, clear cues, visible choices—while changing the world around them.

Use familiar rules

The closer you get to a break, the less useful it is to teach a complicated new game. Seasonal versions should feel fresh without requiring a new operating manual.

Plan for shorter attention

A ten-minute round that ends cleanly is often better than a forty-minute activity that needs repeated resets.

Keep the classroom boundary

Exciting visuals do not require louder behaviour. Choose the activity based on the energy you want after it ends, not only during it.

Return to normal routines

Seasonal tools work best when they sit inside the same transition and cleanup routines students already know.
