The Fixes Program™ was created by Christopher Allen, an Ontario elementary educator with more than 20 years of experience across classroom teaching, physical education, coaching, technology integration and educational leadership.
His background includes a Bachelor of Physical & Health Education from Brock University, teacher certification from Medaille College, and Ontario teacher certification. But the part that matters most here is the everyday classroom work: transitions that drag, games that break down over rules, students who need another way to practise an expectation, and those ten unexpected minutes when a teacher needs something useful immediately.
The Fixes grew out of those moments. The goal is not to make teaching look perfect. It is to make the next move clearer, faster and easier to use tomorrow.

Students deserve practice, not just reminders.
The teaching philosophy behind The Fixes is deliberately practical. Clear expectations matter, but saying an expectation once does not make it usable. Students get better when they can rehearse what “ready,” “safe,” “fair,” “finished,” or “try again” actually looks like.
That is why so many Fixes use movement, quick games, visible routines, challenges and shared language. The activity is not there just to entertain. It gives the class a low-stakes place to practise the behaviour or routine before the real moment demands it.
And when the need is simpler — rainy recess, five spare minutes, a playground disagreement, a transition that needs tightening — the product should not create more work than the problem. The standard is simple: practical, engaging, and ready to use.

Everything on The Fixes Program™ is available to use without putting a paywall between a teacher and the moment they are trying to solve. Teachers can explore the information pages, open the tools and use the classroom experiences first. If something genuinely helped, the optional Pay What It Was Worth model gives them a way to support the work afterward.
Teacher-facing pages may contain clearly separated advertising and privacy-conscious analytics. The actual classroom and projectable experiences are intentionally kept commercial-free: no AdSense, no payment prompts and no marketplace selling in front of students.
