Why this exists

The problem is real.
So is the Fix.

Sometimes the right intervention is simply one clear visual, one tiny model and one fast rep.

THE PROBLEM

The correction is becoming background noise.

Students have heard the reminder so often that the words no longer change the behaviour.

THE FIX

Make the expectation visible and rehearse it.

A short projectable sequence creates a clean reset without consuming the whole lesson.

“Small reset. Clear rep. Back to learning.”

Run it well

Teach the behaviour before the difficult moment asks for it.

The Mini-Lessons turn common classroom expectations into short teacher-led practice. They are not assemblies, lectures or social-emotional units. They are small routines for showing, trying and naming what the behaviour looks like in the exact moments students meet every day.

Show the behaviour physically

“Be respectful” is abstract. Show what waiting for a partner, entering the carpet space or responding to a direction actually looks like.

Use non-examples carefully

A quick silly non-example can make the contrast obvious, but do not let the wrong version become the most entertaining part of the lesson.

Practise immediately

The class should do the thing, not only discuss it. One short rep gives you more information than five minutes of agreement.

Reference the lesson later

Transfer happens when the same language appears in a real transition, game or lesson without replaying the whole mini-lesson.
