THE TEAM
FIX™
Most teams practise the sport every session. Fewer teams deliberately practise communication, trust, focus, recovery and shared responsibility. The Team Fix gives coaches short activities that fit inside practice instead of becoming another lecture.

CHOOSE. PREVIEW.
RUN.
There should be almost no setup tax. Pick what the group needs, choose the time you have, preview the activity, then run it.
Name the team need
Communication, connection, focus, trust, leadership, problem solving or reset.
See the essentials
Outcome, time, equipment and exactly what the coach needs to say before deciding to run it.
Get out of the way
Once the activity starts, the live state is stripped down so the coach can watch people instead of the screen.
Team culture needs repetitions too
Culture is often discussed as if it comes from the right speech, the right captains or the right collection of personalities. In practice, teams get better at the behaviours they repeatedly use. If players only communicate when a drill requires it, only solve problems when the coach stops practice, or only talk about trust after conflict, those skills stay theoretical.
A short team activity at the start of practice creates a low-stakes repetition. Players have to listen, organize, adapt, include people, recover from mistakes or solve something together before the sport becomes the only thing demanding their attention.
The Team Fix is deliberately brief. It should earn its place inside practice, not compete with practice.
