Why Case Two
Case Two assumes the class already recognizes the case-file rhythm and makes the schedule itself part of the evidence.
The Unauthorized Schedule is designed as a returning investigation. The advantage is familiarity: students do not need the full case-file format taught from the beginning, so the substitute can move more quickly into VERIFY and the connected classroom action.
Case Two is strongest when ACTIVATE, VERIFY and ARCHIVE already feel familiar. If the class has never used the system, begin with Case One so the story does not compete with the procedure.
The case can use the idea of an altered schedule because the class already has a shared structure. The adult still needs to keep the real school schedule and dismissal expectations completely clear.
The in-browser archive lets the next visit begin from a previous clue rather than restarting the world. That continuity is the reason to use a second case instead of replaying the first one.
Case Two adds novelty by changing the investigation, while the teacher-facing procedure stays familiar. That is the balance that keeps coverage setup small.
